ALPHA

Challenging Lifestyles:

A new Alpha course, starting on April 28th. Although this is a follow-up to the Alpha course, it is open to everyone. Taking the Alpha course is not a pre-requisite.


Christ Church has offered a variety Alpha courses over time.
Some of the past courses have included:
  • Alpha
ALPHA is a series of 15 taped talks presented over 10 weeks.
Learning about the Christian faith.
People learning and growing together.
Help one another in small groups after each tape.
A chance to ask questions and discuss our faith.
  • Alpha Marriage

Topics discussed include: recognizing each other's needs, learning to communicate effectively, resolving conflict, healing past hut, knowing how to make each other feel loved, relating to parents and in-laws, good sex, making time for each other and having fun.

  • Life Worth Living

This course is aimed specifically at those who are starting out in the Christian life. It is an excellent follow up course to ALPHA

Alpha Team:
Volunteers are needed to help make the Alpha Program run smoothly. Please consider volunteering for an Alpha Program.

The alpha team consists of discussion leaders and task force helpers to set-up, cook and clean-up.

Set-up includes:
  • setting tables with linen,
  • place settings flowers, and condiments,
  • wall up,
  • TV and chairs set up for viewing the vides and
  • literature table set-up.


Cleanup includes:


break down everything set up for the program
clean all pots and pans (including coffee pot) and dishes and everything used

 



The kitchen should be ready for use the next day!
