Welcome Brunch:
On May 20th there will be one service at 9am. Following the service will be a brunch to welcome Myriam to the church. When you decide which item on the menu(fruit punch, quiche, egg strata, ham&cheese wrap, tuna wrap, finger sandwiches, tossed salad, pasta salad, fruit salad) you will be bringing please let Irene know. RSVP by May 13th to Irene.
Lutherans, Anglicans and Roman Catholics: What Divides us? What Unites Us?
A panel discussion sponsored by the Long Island Lutheran-Anglican-ROman Catholic Dialogue will be held on Sunday, May 6th from 3-5pm at St. Hugh of Lincoln Roman Catholic Church in Huntington Station. No pre-registration necessary. All are welcome!
Bible Study
Father D. will be starting his scripture course on the Gospel of Mark on Thursdays at 10:00am. The course will begin as soon as the present course is completed.
Destination Science:
Destination Science is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing fun, hands on science to children from Grades K-6. They do that with building and experimenting with walking robots, launching robots, and solving cool science myteries
Destination Science will be here at Christ Church for two weeks this summer from August 8-17 (Robo Dragon Extreme Techno Challenge) and August 20-24 (Wild Extreme Physics Fun). Complete details including hours, registration and cost can be found at destinationscience.org or call 1-888-909-2822.
