Help Wanted

Roof Fund Cans

We are distributing cans to members of Christ Church to collect funds for the new roof. Please put your loose change in them and bring the cans back to church when full. You can request additional cans if needed. The roof is still leaking around the bell tower and will need an additional $20,000 to repair. Please keep this in prayer.

Ushers

There is a need to have at lease 2 users at each service. We also need someone who will be supervisor of the ushers. Usher duties include:

  • Greet everyone and distribute bulletins, prayers requests and visitor packets

  • Oversee the collection and record attendance

  • Bring up the elements, offering and food basket at offertory

  • Provide the appropriate songbooks to each pew

  • Check to see if pews and hymn racks are neat

  • Straighten up books in the pew racks after the service.

Shalom Interfaith Project

We are members of the Shalom Interfaith Project which meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 1:00pm. We need a representative to go the meetings. If you are interested please contact Fr. Bob.
 

Altar Guild Members

Needs 2 members for setup and cleanup of each service .

Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

With the holidays approaching please remember that the ECW collects items for gift baskets. These baskets are donated to various organizations and ministries. There needs are as follows:

  • Seamen's

    • Needs Unscented Hypoallergenic Hand Lotion (2-4 oz)

    • Unscented, colorless Lip Balm

    • Sealed packages of Holiday Sweets

    • Books or activities like Sudoku, word searches and playing cards

  • Teen Challenge - women's toiletries (no sharp items)
