WHO ARE WE?
Christ Church ECW group is a part of the Diocese of
Long Island, located in Province II, one of the nine Provinces of the
Episcopal Church of the U.S.A.
Our main purpose is to assist the Episcopal Church
through the diocesan, provincial and national levels in carrying out
Christ's Work of reconciliation in the world and to take our place in
the life, governance and worship of the church.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Christ Church ECW contributes to several projects for the
Archdeaconry of Suffolk and New York City. Some of these projects
benefit the Seamen's Club of New York and St. Catherine's Nursing Home
in Smithtown. In the past year we held a Tag Sale and the proceeds
enabled us to make contributions to Christ Church,
the Bishop's Relief Fund, and to the Red Cross for disaster relief.
Local community involvement included participation in
the Greater Port Jefferson Dickens Festival celebrated the first weekend
in December.
WHEN DO WE MEET?
The first Monday of every
month at 7:30 P.M.
Fellowship Hall
