We believe God has led us to make the house available for persons or small groups interested in spending some prayerful time away from their everyday cares and distractions.

We offer prayerful solitude, in addition to regular morning prayer.  There are no organized activities, although you are welcome to join us in the programs that meet at the church and at Barnabas house. 

We have available three bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Kitchen facilities are available, and a variety of good restaurants are just a few minutes walk away.  

A library/reading room is on the main floor, and both the main Church and a meditation chapel are available for prayer.

Parking is provided on the Church grounds.

Barnabas House is a few blocks from the Port Jefferson Ferry.  The Long Island Railroad station is uptown, a few minutes away, and cabs are available.

Barnabas House does not have a set fee.  We suggest an offering of $50-$80 per night per room.  For those whose personal circumstances make this difficult, other arrangements can be made.
